does a very credible and fast job at developing an e-business strategy

reengineering their businesses into "e-businesses". Check out the
company that coined the term e-business with their fast-paced IBM
Global Services Division. With offices opening up all over the country
to spread the power of "e", IBM is not just a hardware/ software
provider anymore.

E-commerce consulting. Sign up to receive their terrific free E-Tailing Guide full of the
self-assessment questions for business who truly want to be successful in the brave new
world of e-tailing. Lauren Freedman is a dynamic speaker and expert in traditional and
e-catalog and retailing issues, as are her colleagues.

(Chicago, Denver, Boston): While I have not used them personally, Melinda
Nykamp's firm has one of the best CRM methodologies I've seen and a very
straightforward and logical description about how to assess and create
catalogs, a marketing database and CRM capability, both online and offline.

Nykamp lists Fortune 1000

While they had to close shop due to the demise of many of their dot com
clients, Creative Good founders still do some individual consulting
projects. This is a category of consultant that no one budgets for and everyone needs.
They know how to do the real, live consumer testing and evaluations to
"Grandma test" (see my Grandma
Test for eCRM presentation) your web customer experience to ensure what
you build actually does what it needs to do for your intended users,
something that is amazingly overlooked in too many web implementations.
Their newsletter, though now published very rarely, used to be one of the best out there on usability, and if you only
read one more paper on usability, their Holiday

Survival Guide on the biggest e-tailer site design mistakes are a must read to
make your site the best it can be.
